Browne is 8-2 against Alhambra since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Browne Bruins will jump right back in to play the Alhambra Lions at 10:30 a.m. Browne has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Browne turned things around against Rio Rico on Friday. They took down the Hawks 70-52.

Browne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dee Shaw, who went 11 of 17 on his way to 25 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Bayigamba, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alhambra). They put the hurt on Metro Tech with a sharp 64-44 win last Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their 18-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Alhambra's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Browne, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Everything came up roses for Browne against Alhambra in their previous matchup on December 4th, as the team secured a 74-21 win. In that match, Browne amassed a halftime lead of 47-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
