Lindale and Van are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Eagles will host the Vandals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lindale hadn't beaten Mabank on the road since December 22, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Eagles snuck past the Panthers with a 51-46 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Van, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against Mabank by a score of 58-47 on Friday.

Van's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Lindale, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Lindale suffered a grim 60-35 defeat to Van in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
