Memorial had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They wrapped up 2024 with a 66-52 win over the Pearce Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-37 back in November.

Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Pearce, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Memorial will take on Emerson at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Pearce, they and East View will face off at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. East View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Pearce likes a good challenge.
