Soccer Recap: Beyer Takes a Loss

Beyer came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pacheco Panthers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Beyer can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1140th, while Pacheco are ranked 282nd).

Beyer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Pacheco, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Beyer will head out to face off against Ceres at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pacheco, they will venture away from home to take on Grace Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacheco are facing Grace Davis at the right time seeing as Grace Davis are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
