Volleyball Game Preview: Notre Dame (SO) Knights vs. Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs + How To Watch

The Notre Dame (SO) Knights will square off against the Flintridge Sacred Heart Tologs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Notre Dame (SO) is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Long Beach Poly just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Jackrabbits, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Knights have suffered since September 9th.

Notre Dame (SO) took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Flintridge Sacred Heart didn't have quite enough to beat Immaculate Heart on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Notre Dame (SO) will have to keep a close watch on Sophia Wright and Ana Wertheimer, a pair of players who had a big impact on Flintridge Sacred Heart's prior game. Wright had 24 digs and three aces, while Wertheimer had seven digs and six aces.

Flintridge Sacred Heart now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Notre Dame (SO), their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
