Basketball Game Preview: Millennium Falcons vs. Orestimba Warriors

The Millennium Falcons will head out to square off against the Orestimba Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Millennium has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the fourth.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 91-31, which was the final score in Millennium's tilt against Stone Ridge Christian on Friday.

Kala Bragg was Millennium's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Andre Saldate held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Orestimba hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They ended the year with a bang, routing Delhi 59-37 on Monday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warriors just coasted through the last quarter.

Millennium's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Orestimba, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season.

Millennium came up short against Orestimba in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, falling 57-44. Can Millennium avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
