Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norman). They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Choctaw Yellowjackets on Friday. Given Norman's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Choctaw are ranked 97th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Norman now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Choctaw, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Norman will head out on the road to challenge Norman North at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norman North will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Norman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Choctaw, they will host Yukon at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Yukon will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
