Plainview had won seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it eight. They came out on top against the North Jackson Chiefs by a score of 35-24. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for North Jackson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games.

When it comes to explaining why North Jackson lost, don't look at Nick Price Jr.. Despite the final result, he rushed for 126 yards and one TD, and also picked up 40 receiving yards. Price Jr. is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 126 every time he's taken the field this season.
