Baseball Recap: Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays vs. Fairfield Lions
Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington had lost 16 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-7 to make it 17. They lost 13-3 to the Fairfield Lions. If the Blue Jays were looking for revenge after losing 17-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Fairfield, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games.
