            The Carl Albert Titans will face off against the Owasso Rams at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Carl Albert comes in on three and Owasso on 14.
Carl Albert proved they can win big  on Tuesday (they won by 11) and  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Union, sneaking past  4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Titans have posted  since May 9, 2024.
Carl Albert got a great performance from  Mason Avery as he  tossed five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Hawkins, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Davonte Jones, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Owasso's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fifth consecutive shutout  on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Edmond Santa Fe  an   8-0 shutout. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six  runs or more this season.
 Owasso pushed their record up to 17-1 with the  victory, which was their 17th straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Carl Albert, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
 Everything went Carl Albert's way against Owasso when the teams last played  back in March of 2024, as Carl Albert made off with  an  11-3 win. Will Carl Albert repeat their success,  or does  Owasso has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
