Preview: Nueva Esperanza vs. Bodine
Nueva Esperanza is on a four-game streak of home losses, Bodine a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. Having just played yesterday, Nueva Esperanza will get right back to it and host Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on January 23rd. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Tuesday.
Nueva Esperanza suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They took a serious blow against Hill Freedman World Academy, falling 52-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nueva Esperanza has scored all season.
Bodine won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-35 loss at the hands of Belmont Charter.
Nueva Esperanza's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bodine, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.
Nueva Esperanza was able to grind out a solid win over Bodine in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 53-44. Will Nueva Esperanza repeat their success, or does Bodine have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
