Football Recap: Carthage's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carthage). They blew past the Nottingham Bulldogs 41-18 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Comets considering their 12-point performance the game before.

The victory keeps Carthage at an undefeated 5-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.2 points on average this season. As for Nottingham, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
