            Softball Recap: Livermore Cowboys vs. Sheldon Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Livermore, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Friday. They came out on top against the Sheldon Huskies by a score of  8-3  on Saturday. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 Gianna Willes and  Payten Williams did most of the damage at the plate:  Willes  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI, while  Williams  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. That's the most  hits  Willes has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Laine Macosky, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Livermore was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive  matchups.

Livermore's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-4. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Sheldon, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-5-1.
 Livermore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  9-5  win against Benicia on the 12th.
