Basketball Recap: Cambridge City Lincoln Comes Up Short

Cambridge City Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Northeastern Knights, falling 70-11. The Golden Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-4.

Ava Mikesell was her usual excellent self, going 5 for 7 on her way to 14 points in addition to six assists and four steals for Northeastern. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Johnson, who went 6 of 9 en route to 13 points.

Cambridge City Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Northeastern, their win was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

As of now, neither Cambridge City Lincoln nor Northeastern have any future games scheduled.
