Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Comes Up Short

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Covina Bulldogs.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for West Covina, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Coming up, Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica will head out to challenge Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Covina, they have already played their next match, a 27-25 defeat against Desert Christian on the 22nd.
