Volleyball Recap: Wallace Miners vs. Kellogg Wildcats
After flying high against St. Maries on Tuesday, Wallace came back down to earth. The Miners came up short against the Kellogg Wildcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Miners have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Wallace took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-12.
Their offense was headlined by Kylee Phillips and Megan Hull, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Aubrey Birdsell and her six assists. Finally, Khepri Wood kept Wallace's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.
