Baseball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Adair Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat last Monday.

Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Adair, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Commerce will be taking part in a tournament against Ketchum at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Adair, they will head out on the road to face off against Vinita at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
