Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Pinecrest Academy's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valor Christian, Pinecrest Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints by a score of 43-36. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-21 back in January.

Pinecrest Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Pinecrest Academy will head out to take on Harvester Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harvester Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they will welcome Cherokee Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy is facing Cherokee Christian at the right time seeing as Cherokee Christian is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
