Volleyball Recap: Emerald Comes Up Short

Emerald lost against Ninety Six back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Wildcats.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Lauren Thomas paced Emerald's offense, picking up six kills. Thomas got some help from Savannah Dover and her eight assists. Emily Erskine controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Emerald's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ninety Six, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Emerald will host Woodruff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ninety Six, they will head out to take on Belton-Honea Path at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
