Soccer Recap: Portland Takes a Loss

Portland lost against Merrol Hyde Magnet back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Hawks, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Portland's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Portland and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Portland will venture away from home to take on Lebanon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Merrol Hyde Magnet, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hume-Fogg on the 21st.
