The Brooks Eagles made easy work of the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers on Friday and carried off an 18-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Brooks has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Chicago Vocational, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Brooks will host Proviso East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Chicago Vocational has already played their next matchup (against Dyett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
