Baseball Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Preston's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Marsh Valley Eagles on Saturday. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Preston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Thomson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Preston's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Marsh Valley, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Preston will host Century at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are facing the Diamondbacks at the right time seeing as the Diamondbacks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marsh Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Snake River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
