Baseball Game Preview: Scotts Valley Falcons vs. San Lorenzo Valley Cougars

Scotts Valley is on a three-game streak of home losses, and San Lorenzo Valley a 13-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Scotts Valley Falcons will look to defend their home field against the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Scotts Valley blew Soquel out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Soquel got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-2. Falcons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since on Wednesday.
