Volleyball Recap: Kimball Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Kimball hadn't done well against Leyton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Longhorns walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Kimball easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14.

Addisyn Olson paced Kimball's offense, picking up six kills. Olson got some help from Grace Moore and her 14 assists.

Kimball's victory ended a six-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Leyton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Kimball wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pine Bluffs on the 30th. As for Leyton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Minatare on the 27th.
