Organ Mountain has gone a perfect 10-0 against Gadsden recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Organ Mountain will host Gadsden at 7:00 p.m. This will be Organ Mountain's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Organ Mountain is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Mexico's top teams: Clovis, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Organ Mountain was ranked 13th). Organ Mountain fell 6-2 to Clovis on Friday.

Organ Mountain saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eren De Leon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that De Leon snagged this season. Another was Jesus Garibay, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gadsden). They put the hurt on Silver with a sharp 14-1 win on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Aiden Dominguez was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Dominguez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

In other batting news, Gadsden got a massive performance out of Robert Martinez, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave Martinez a new career-high. Alonso Rodriguez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Organ Mountain's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4-1. As for Gadsden, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Organ Mountain beat Gadsden 3-0 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will Organ Mountain repeat their success, or does Gadsden has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
