Preview: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Long Trail
Twin Valley has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on Long Trail at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Wednesday, Twin Valley lost to Woodstock at home by a decisive 61-45 margin.
Despite the defeat, Twin Valley got a solid performance out of Noah Dornburgh, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Brayden Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Long Trail took a serious blow against Poultney on Monday, falling 68-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Long Trail has scored all season.
Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Long Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Twin Valley was dealt a bruising 63-31 defeat at the hands of Long Trail in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Twin Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
