Softball Recap: Marsing Huskies vs. Ririe Bulldogs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Malad, Marsing was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Ririe Bulldogs by a score of 6-2.

Brooklyn Roadenbaugh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. Roadenbaugh was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Marsing let Lily Thoene and Natalie Thoene run wild. Lily went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Natalie went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Callison, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Marsing lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
