Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Patriots vs. Alamance Christian Warriors

The Liberty Christian Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Alamance Christian Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Alamance Christian likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Liberty Christian didn't have too much trouble with Faith Christian as they won 58-43.

Jakeem Bradford continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 33 points in addition to five boards and five steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 30 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ian Sterrett, who posted 15 points.

Meanwhile, Alamance Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their 15-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Triad Baptist Christian Academy.

Liberty Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Alamance Christian, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 18-2.

Liberty Christian came up short against Alamance Christian in their previous matchup back in January, falling 100-92. Can Liberty Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
