Recap: Vista Ridge Rangers vs. Vandegrift Vipers
The Vista Ridge Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 45-26 bruising from Vandegrift. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Vista Ridge has scored all season.
Vista Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being James Hester, who scored six points along with five rebounds. Sneed Cayden was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Vista Ridge has been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season. As for Vandegrift, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6.
Vista Ridge will take on Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Round Rock presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Vista Ridge in Texas (Round Rock is ranked 115th, while Vista Ridge is ranked 588th). As for Vandegrift, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Round Rock Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
