Volleyball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball lost against St. Mary back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars fell 3-1 to the Rams.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 23-25, 25-16.

Leading St. Mary's to victory were Dylan Neves and Andrew Zumout. Neves had 33 digs and five aces, while Zumout had 15 digs. Neves is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

Kimball has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for St. Mary's, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-15 record.

Looking ahead, Kimball will face off against West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolfpack will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Mary's, they will challenge Tracy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
