Soccer Recap: Navarre Takes a Loss

Navarre was the 2-0 winner over Bay when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Brody Shealey was handed one for Navarre, while Bay got theirs courtesy of Eduard Gomez.

This is the second loss in a row for Navarre and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Navarre has already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Tate on the 13th. As for Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Rutherford on the 10th.
