Softball Recap: Rice Consolidated Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rice Consolidated's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Hallettsville Brahmas on Tuesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rice Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hallettsville, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Rice Consolidated will challenge Yoakum at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hallettsville, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Edna at 6:00 p.m. Hallettsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
