Bernstein and Poly squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bernstein had to settle for second. They came up short against the Poly Parrots, falling 75-51. The Dragons' loss signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Leading Poly to victory were Quian Khawaja and JD Wyatt. Khawaja posted 29 points, while Wyatt earned 27 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Wyatt has scored at least a third of Poly's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Lara, who had ten points.

Bernstein's defeat dropped their record down to 27-3. As for Poly, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Bernstein does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Poly, they will host Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
