Basketball Preview: Horizon Science Academy vs. Christian Community Warriors
Two dominant guards in Braylon Myrick and Grant Doeringer are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Horizon Science Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against the Christian Community Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
Horizon Science Academy pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to Lawrence Upper.
Meanwhile, Christian Community had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against Westside Christian Academy by a score of 53-46.
Horizon Science Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 10-3 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Christian Community, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
