Greenwich is 7-2 against Hoosick Falls since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Witches will look to defend their home pitch against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Greenwich will be strutting in after a victory while Hoosick Falls will be coming in after a defeat.

Greenwich's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Berlin/New Lebanon as they made off with a 3-0 win. Given Greenwich's advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 131st, while Berlin/New Lebanon are ranked 291st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Hoosick Falls was not quite Hoosic Valley's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 1-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Greenwich and bumps their season record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Hoosick Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.

Greenwich skirted past Hoosick Falls 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Witches have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
