Baseball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was the 9-6 winner over Cane Ridge when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 15-11 to the Ravens on Thursday.

Kordae Walker made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Belton, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Antioch has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Cane Ridge, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10.

Coming up, Antioch will take on Hunters Lane at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cane Ridge, they will face off against Hillsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
