Softball Recap: Peaster's Winning Streak Snapped at 14 Games

It was a good run, but Peaster unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 6-2 to the Holliday Eagles. The Greyhounds were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the seven games prior), but the Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

Peaster's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Holliday, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season.

While Peaster had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
