Baseball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is East Davidson's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

East Davidson won the last time they faced Salisbury and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 13-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

East Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Salisbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Coming up, Salisbury will welcome North Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. East Davidson will be paying especially close attention to Salisbury's game: after Salisbury faces off against North Rowan, they'll take on East Davidson again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
