Volleyball Recap: Charleston Math & Science Comes Up Short

Charleston Math & Science lost against Cathedral Academy back in September of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Riptide came up short against the Generals, falling 3-0. The Riptide have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Charleston Math & Science's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cathedral Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Charleston Math & Science and Cathedral Academy will both be playing Lowcountry Leadership the next time they take the court. The Generals will host the NaviGators at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Riptide will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on October 7.
