There's no place like home for Mapletown, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams on Wednesday as Mapletown made off with an 11-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Maples in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won seven in a row.

Makenna Lotspeich was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Emma Zalar was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Mapletown was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Turkeyfoot Valley Area only posted a batting average of .238.

Mapletown now has a winning record of 2-1.

Mapletown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-2 loss against Charleroi on the 21st. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, they have also already played their next game, a 10-6 win against Clay-Battelle on the 25th.
