Softball Recap: Beverly Hills Normans vs. Culver City Centaurs

Beverly Hills had lost six straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-12 to make it seven. They lost 20-1 to the Culver City Centaurs. The Normans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Centaurs from their previous meeting back in April of 2019.

As for Culver City, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.9 runs over those games.

For Culver City's part, Christen Hardy-Taylor was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. That home run marked the first that Hardy-Taylor has launched this season. Hayden Martin was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one triple.
