Basketball Game Preview: Nash Central Bulldogs vs. Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets

Nash Central and Roanoke Rapids are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2022, but not for long. The Nash Central Bulldogs will challenge the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Nash Central is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Monday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Nash Central beat Bunn 49-43.

Meanwhile, Roanoke Rapids lost to Bunn on the road by a 48-34 margin on Friday.

Nash Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Roanoke Rapids, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything came up roses for Nash Central against Roanoke Rapids when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 54-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nash Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
