Softball Recap: Ridgeline Has No Trouble Against Ferris

Ridgeline's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Ferris Saxons. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Saxons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Persais Triplett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Triplett was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

In other batting news, Lilley Triplett was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Quincy Coder was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Ridgeline's record now sits at 8-5. As for Ferris, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ridgeline will take on rival Lewis & Clark at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ferris is set to face off against their familiar foe University at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
