Basketball Recap: Plevna Comes Up Short

Plevna lost against Powder River County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Plevna Cougars took a 40-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Powder River County Hawks. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Plevna has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Powder River County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Plevna will venture away from home to take on Terry at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Terry will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Plevna surely won't give up without a fight. Powder River County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
