Basketball Recap: Stearns Takes a Loss

Stearns lost against Southern Aroostook back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stearns Minutemen fell just short of the Southern Aroostook Warriors by a score of 60-57.

Stearns has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Southern Aroostook, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Katahdin the next time they take the court. Stearns will head out to face Katahdin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Southern Aroostook will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
