Baseball Recap: Dewar Triumphs

Dewar won the last time they faced Stuart and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Dragons came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dragons.

Dewar let Traber Jones and Tanner Wilson run wild. Jones went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles, while Wilson went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Jones also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

Dewar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.

Dewar's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Stuart, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.
