Volleyball Game Preview: Latin Romans vs. Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM

The Latin Romans will venture away from home to take on the Cristo Rey St. Martin CRSM at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Latin saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taft.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey St. Martin also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Waukegan by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21.

Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cristo Rey St. Martin, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Latin was able to grind out a solid win over Cristo Rey St. Martin in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Romans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
