Basketball Recap: Far Rockaway Comes Up Short

Far Rockaway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Campus Magnet Bulldogs. One positive for the Seahorses, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Far Rockaway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Campus Magnet, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Far Rockaway will be home for the holidays to greet Architecture, Engineering and Construction at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campus Magnet will take on Eagle Academy III in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Eagle Academy III's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
