Baseball Recap: Hillside Comes Up Short

Hillside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Northern Durham Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Thursday.

Caleb Williams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Northern Durham, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coincidentally, Hillside and Northern Durham will both be playing Chapel Hill the next time they take the field. The Knights will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Hornets will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
