With a playoff win on the line, The Covenant rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 66-28 victory over the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 21 points or more this season.

The Covenant got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cece Corbey out in front who went 7-for-15 en route to 18 points and three steals. That's the most points Corbey has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Makayla Hargrove, who scored 12 points and four steals.

The Covenant smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Norfolk Collegiate, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

The Covenant has already played their next matchup, a 72-59 loss against Steward on the 26th. Norfolk Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
